Singapore Art Museum
One of Singapore's finest colonial strcutures, the former St Joseph's Institution is home to the Singapore Art Museum. Exhibits include modern art from Singapore and traditional art from Southeast Asia. One of the main attractions of the new museum is the E-mage Gallery which features interactive programmes involving 20th century Southeast Asian art on large high defination visual monitors. Look out for periodic exhibitions. Free guided tours in English are at 11:00am and 2:00pm daily with an additional tour time of 3:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Free guided tours in Japanese are at 10:30am daily.
